« TURKISH AGGRESSION AGAINST THE KURDISH PEOPLE OF SYRIA

STATEMENT

In the aftermath of the withdrawal of the American forces from Syria, Turkey sent bombers and troops to occupy Kurdish territory. For the moment the attack is pushed back by the valiant Kurdish fighters, but it resulted in about fifteen civilian victims.

It would be criminal on the part of Western nations to let Erdogan massacre the Kurds. Without their help, ISIS would have never been defeated.

As a reminder, since its independence in 1946, Syria a so-called « Arab » country has never considered its Kurdish minority as its citizens or issued them with passports or identity cards.

Kabylia and the Kabyle people stand in solidarity with the Kurdish people. On their behalf and on behalf of the MAK and the Kabyle provisionally government in exile, President Ferhat Mehenni condemns this Turkish aggression. He calls on the international community to join forces against this criminal Turkish aggression and provide a lasting protection to the Kurdish people.

Long live free Kurdistan »
